Dr. Funk grew up in Royersford and graduated from Spring Ford high school. He spent his college years at Juniata College and went to dental school at Temple Dental School. Dr Funk has invested many hours in continuing education and has become highly knowledgeable on many phases of dentistry. He tries to combine that knowledge with a craftsmanship so that any work he creates will be as perfect, enduring, and functional as possible.

Dr. Funk is married with two children and, has many interests including hiking, golfing, gardening, and reading. Dr Funk recognizes that dentistry for many patients is not a stress free experience so he tries to incorporate humor and conversation into his appointments so his patients can feel more relaxed and at home.

Beverly Funk or Bev, has been with Dr. Funk's office since 1985. She grew up in Philadelphia and graduated from Mastbaum High School and did 2 years post grad. Bev and Dr. Funk have been married 31 years and they have two boys together, David who is 29 and Matt who is 26. Bev's hobbies include: loving animals, horseback riding, camping and yoga. 

Chris has been a part of our office and working the front desk since May of 2000. She grew up in Trooper and graduated from Methacton High School and North Montco ATVS for dental assisting. Chris is both our receptionist and secretary where she takes care of appointments, billing, and insurance matters. Chris is the smile and friendly hello that greets all of our patients as they come into the office, and she is the quick wit and joker of our staff who is never without a comment or observation. Chris enjoys free time with her family and friends and three legged dog named Badger. Chris is an active volunteer for Mostly Muttz Dog Rescue and a member of a few hiking groups.

Jill has been a dental hygienist for Dr. Funk's office since 2006. She grew up in Linfield and graduated from Spring Lorel High School and Montgomery County Community College. When Jill isn't working, she likes to spend time with family and friends, go to church events and golfing. Jill also loves to dabble in design and get great ideas from HGTV and Pinterest. 

Patricia Kimpton or better known as Tricia, has been with us since June of 2015 as a dental assistant. Tricia grew up in Schwenksville and graduated from Perkiomen Valley High School & Berks Career & Technology Center. When Tricia is not helping Dr. Funk, she likes to spend time with her 5 year old son named Aydan. They love taking long walks together and to be outside. Tricia loves cars, especially a 69' Camaro or a 70' Chevelle. As Tricia would say, "Chevy power"! 

Maria started with us in January 2014 as a dental assistant. Maria grew up in Boyertown and she is interning for the Expanded Function Dental Assisting program at the YTI Career Institute. Maria has a very large family with 5 younger brothers and sisters. In Maria's spare time, she helps out with her family's restaurant call "Carmelo's" in Boyertown. Maria loves to travel and see new places and historical architecture while driving around in a Ford Mustang!

Lorraine joins our practice with many years of experience in the dental field, beginning her career at a large insurance company processing dental claims. She grew up in NJ,CO,AL and PA and graduated from Central Bucks High School West in Dolyestown. In her spare time, Lorraine enjoys live music, boating, hiking, reading and traveling to warm, sunny destinations.

Clifton has been a dental hygienist in Dr. Funk's office since 2015. Clifton grew up in Norristown and graduated from Norristown High School and Montgomery County Community College. His hobbies include spending time with his family at the beach, taking courses towards a biology degree and working for the Funkmeister.
